Our Story

La Mejico Bakery arose more than 120 years ago. We have had the privilege to follow up the family bakery tradition throughout five generations. The first traditional Mexican bakery started in the 1900s in the Northern region of Mexico in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. By excelling in quality, point of sale, and customer services, our bakeries began to expand in all the city quickly. – In 1995, the family business was really popular, so with the evolution of production and operations management, we decided to build a manufacturing bakery plant to reach the most of our customers in the whole nation. By succeeding in our new way of business by being in mostly all supermarkets and convenience stores in Mexico in the year 2010, we decided to penetrate the American market with the idea to serve as an ambassador brand of Mexico in the United States.
